Rainbow Consulting, LLC is a behavioral and educational intervention agency serving learners with special needs. We provide on-site professional development, training and technical assistance programs, focusing on behavior reduction, classroom management, co-teaching and inclusion techniques for school professionals.
We present effective, dynamic, and well-organized workshops; provide resources and coach educators to use the principles of Positive Behavior Support and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). We have a wide range of experience working with learners in school settings, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).
Workshops
Rainbow’s Training speaks directly to educators' experiences and provides tools and techniques for building teacher capacity. Our workshops are tailored to the specific needs of teachers, school support staff, and the specific population of learners with whom they work. Rainbow's behavior management workshops help staff to develop a common language, increase consistency in behavior management policies, and significantly decrease discipline referrals.
On-going Coaching
Provide individuals and small groups of school staff with tools to:
- Improve their current practice
- Develop specific problem-solving techniques
- Implement interventions
Goals
Rainbow’s Training prepares educators to demonstrate the three most effective methods for handling discipline problems:
- Prevent undesirable behaviors from occurring
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA)
- Identify and implement effective reinforcement
